Great Time To Snowshoe!

Have you ever gone outside when it was snowing?  Yea, I know, you have to shovel the walkway or take the kids out.  No, no, I mean you.  

We all tend sit inside on a snowy day.  Maybe, rent a movie, or watch TV all day.  Some of you bake, talk on the phone or whatever you do to stay occupied. 

I wanted to do something fun, something that would make me feel good all over.  This year I did not want to sit around doing nothing.  I purchased snow shoes for my husband and me.  I cannot ski due to alignment in my legs (yea, my skis cross together) so, I don’t ski. 

My husband and I have now been snowshoeing outside for over 3 years now.  It has been so much fun.  Not only do we get time together, but we are also exercising when it doesn’t even feel like it.  Now, we have friends that have also purchased snowshoes from our local LL Bean Store.  The expert reps at LL Bean or EMS with set you up with the correct size. 

The first week of January 2011, we had a beautiful day full of big snowflakes.  I decided to text a friend of mine and we all went out into the woods for an hour walk.
